Broadway In Bryant Park Announces This Year's Summer Line-Up

106.7 Lite FM has announced this summer's line-up for its annual "Broadway In Bryant Park" series in New York City.

The live lunch hour series typically runs once a week on Bryant Park's lawn in July and August and features songs and performances from present and future Broadway and off-Broadway shows. There is no admission fee. The series is a good chance to get a peek at what shows may (or may not) interest you.

Each performance in this year's series takes place on Thursdays from 12:30 to 1:30 PM. (No raindates.) The current schedule is as follows:

July 10 - Chicago, Monty Python's Spamalot, Cry-Baby, [title of show], and Stomp
July 17 - Avenue Q, The Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia!, In the Heights, and Pure Country
July 24 - The Lion King, Passing Strange, Hairspray, and Godspell
July 31 - The Little Mermaid, Altar Boyz, and Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy
August 7 - Spring Awakening, Gypsy, Xanadu, and Mary Poppins
August 14 - Grease, Young Frankenstein, Rent, Legally Blonde, and 13

Bryant Park is located just behind the New York Public Library on Sixth Avenue between 40th and 42nd Streets. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
